The Eugene Emeralds open up their first playoff series since 2002 this afternoon in Vancouver B.C. against the Canadians. Eugene finished the last two games of the regular season with a split… downing Yakima 2-1 Friday night, then losing 5-4 Saturday. Vancouver had the second-best overall record in the West Division of the Northwest League, putting them in the playoff against the Emeralds… game two of the series is tomorrow evening in Eugene. Game three, if needed, will be Wednesday.
