It’s expected that as many as 60 authors and publishers will be participating in the first ever Florence Festival of Books in two weeks at the Florence Events Center. One of the most experienced and notable writers will be William L. Sullivan, the author of a number of hiking guides and fiction.
Local writers will be represented there as well; Margaret Thorngate will be displaying her newly published “When Flags Flew High”, an historical novel about the home front during World War II. The festival is set for October First from ten to four at the Events Center.
