Siuslaw Track and Field standout Ashlee Cole is Coast Radio Sports’ Athlete of the Week. The sophomore thrower claimed the Far West District Title in the discus with a personal best throw of 95-feet, 9-inches. She also finished third in the javelin with a toss of 104-feet, 4-inches.
Honorable mention is given to senior runner Jessica Alletson who will make a trip to the State finals this weekend in the 800 meters. Alletson finished 2nd in the event at the Far West District meet with a personal best time of 2:39.08.
