GRANTS PASS, Ore. (AP) – Josephine County Commissioners have voted not to immediately spend what may be the county’s final federal timber payment. Some had wanted to use part of the money to expand the county jail.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – A 19-year-old man who gave a marijuana-laced cupcake to his friend’s mother in Troutdale is pleading no contest to misdemeanor harassment. Ethan Allen Lehmann told The Oregonian he regrets the incident, but didn’t intend to cause any harm. Felony charges were dismissed as part of his guilty plea.

GRANTS PASS, Ore. (AP) – A 73-year-old woman with Alzheimer’s who left her adult care home in an electric wheelchair has been dead near Grants Pass.
