Oregon fails to clinch Pac-12 basketball title; Oregon State loses fifth straight; Diamond schedule

Number 19 Oregon will have to wait until tomorrow to settle just who will be the Pac-12 men’s basketball champions.  The Ducks fell hard to the Colorado Buffaloes last night in Boulder, losing 76-53.  Oregon is tied at the top of the league standings now with UCLA with one final game remaining in the regular season.  The Ducks will be in Salt Lake tomorrow for an 11:30 game against Utah.  Airtime on Coast Radio Sports is set for 11 o’clock.

Oregon State lost their fifth straight game, falling to Utah last night 72 – 61.  Roberto Nelson scored 18 points in the battle of two teams who, at the time, were tied for tenth in the Pac-12.  The Beavers are now tied for last place with Washington State.  Oregon State will be in Boulder tomorrow at 1:30 against Colorado.  Airtime on KCFM is at one.

On the college diamond this weekend… Number 15 Oregon will host number two Vanderbilt for a three game series at PK Park.  In Corvallis, it’s Texas State and Number Four Oregon State in the final three-game non-league series of the season for the Beavers.
