SALEM, Ore. (AP) – Oregon primary and secondary schools will not be getting $800 million in funding that would have helped avoid cutting teachers or school days. PASCO, Wash. (AP) – Authorities say an Idaho woman who had been missing since Sunday near Pasco, Wash., has been found alive. KNDO reports that 21-year-old Rashelle Klontz, whose belongings were found inside a fruit stand where she had been shopping, was found in a wheat field by a farmer. PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – A federal judge has reopened the dispute over which union workers at the Port of Portland should perform the task of plugging and unplugging refrigerated cargo containers. A U.S. District Court judge ruled yesterday that the National Labor Relations Board overstepped its authority last year when it awarded the work to union electricians instead of the International Longshore & Warehouse Union.
