The Eugene Emeralds fell short in a come-back bid last night, losing 7-5 to the Tri City Dust Devils at PK Park.  The Ems fell into a huge hole early; they were down 6-nothing after four inning.  Two brief rallies brought them three runs in the fifth and two more in the seventh.  But, in the end Eugene couldn’t overcome six walks and three errors as they fall to five-and-six on the year.

Eugene will host Salem-Keizer this evening for the first of three at home.
