Oregon State jumped off to another early 5-run lead over Sacramento State yesterday.  This time it held up as the Beavers held on for an 8-1 non-conference baseball win.

Dylan Davis got the start on the mound, throwing 4 1/3 scoreless innings allowing one hit and striking out three.  He also accounted for much of the early offense, swinging for a two-run homer in the first inning, then adding a two RBI single in the third.

Oregon State, at 28-8 overall, will host Oregon for a three game Civil War series in Corvallis beginning Friday.
