Four Mapleton Sailors singled out
Two Mapleton Sailors were selected for the first team All Mountain West football squad for their efforts on both sides of the ball this season. Chet Geddes was picked by Mountain West coaches for the 8-man All State Game in June, and was named to the First Team All Mountain West squad for play on the offensive and defensive lines.
Dominic Wells also received First Team honors for his work as a wide receiver and as defensive end. He garnered a third recognition… 2nd team offensive utility player.
Two other Sailors earned honorable mention… Tanner Wilson at Center and Trevver D’auteuil (doe-TAY) on the offensive line.
