PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Portland police say they have arrested a woman who led officers on a chase while three children were in her car. KATU-TV reports that soon after officers checking reports of a reckless driver saw her. The woman allegedly hit a patrol car and sped off, but police were eventually able to stop the driver by ramming the SUV. The children aged 3, 5 and 11 were unharmed and are related to the woman.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Portland real estate owners have revealed a plan to bring $1.5 billion in investment to transform one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods. The Oregonian reports that the Goodman family, which runs the Downtown Development Group, is looking to add 11 new buildings on the surface parking lots between the Burnside and Morrison bridges.

KANAB, Utah (AP) – Cliven Bundy spoke against grazing contracts during a funeral for an Oregon occupation leader who urged ranchers to disavow their contracts with the government. Supporters and family members of Robert Finicum gathered Friday in Utah to remember the man killed last month during a confrontation with FBI agents and Oregon state troopers. The Salt Lake Tribune reports that Bundy said the federal government didn’t want Finicum to teach others that ranchers’ land stewardship gives them rights.

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) – Dillon Brooks had 30 points and nine assists, both career highs, to lead No. 16 Oregon to a 76-66 victory over Utah yesterday. Chris Boucher added 15 points and Elgin Cook had 12 for the Ducks, who won their sixth consecutive game and 22nd straight at home, one shy of the school record.
