Aqua Sox Dominate Emeralds; Justin Herbert Say Ducks Are Prepared

The Everett Aqua Sox took control of the game last night after the Emeralds secured a 4 – 2 lead.  In the bottom of the fifth inning with the bases loaded a wild pitched and a walk scored a run then Aaron Stroosma hit a grand slam to drife in 4 more runs making it a 7 – 4 game.  A pair of doubles in the bottom of the 7th added 3 more runs.  In the top of the ninth the Emeralds tried to mount a comeback  and scored 1 run before Jhonny Bethencourt grounds into a double play.  Game 5 against the Aqua Sox is this evening at 7:05

Sophomore QB Says They’re Ready

QB Justin Herbert says he and his team have been preparing and getting ready for their season opener as the ducks await opening day against Southern Utah.  The second year quarterback says he has learned a lot about watching film and says the team will be aggressive this year.  The Ducks pre-game will air on KCST at 3:30 Saturday.
