Father Pleas for Daughter’s Safe Return

A Plea from the father of a 12 year old runaway asks that communities around the state be on the lookout for his 12 year old daughter and her 16 year old step sister.  Justin Young of Florence says that notes were left by both girls stating their intentions to run away, but the notes seemed very cryptic.  Young says the girls had the opportunity to bond over the summer break and that it was not clear as to why his daughter decided to go along.

“One note makes it sound like a last minute addition and one note makes it sound like that was her plan so we would look for Jenna.”

Young said in one of the notes the 16 year old stated her intentions to run away after having been caught and returned home from a previous attempt.  He says that he has been on the road trying to track down the two girls and believes that the girls stopped in Winston for gas and is hoping there is video evidence that confirms that.  Young says people can call 911 if they see the two girls traveling together and he prays for their safe return.

“ We miss her and I know that Allison’s family misses her and we just, we just want’em home.”

The Girls have been on the run since Sunday evening.
