KCST’s Classic Car Cruise
Saturday, May 18th in Historic Old Town Florence
Registration is only available at the Show and Shine at Highway 101 and 21st street beginning at 8:30 AM. There is a $5 requested donation (100% of which goes to the local firefighter’s association). Registration is for street legal 1976 and older vehicles and will be limited to the first 150 registrants.Cruise formation begins at 5:00 at Florence Christian Church at 2nd and Ivy; enter via Rhododendron Drive on Ivy Street. Judging for 5 categories, including “Best in Cruise” will be done by firefighters at 5:30 and awarded at 6:30. Cruise itself begins at 6:30 and is slated to go through 7:30. Tune in to Coast Radio, KCST 106.9 FM for a special broadcast of oldies and “cruising tunes” from six until 8:30. Coast Radio will be broadcasting live from Bay Street at the Maple Street Vendor’s Fair during the cruise and will bring you prizes and surprises along the way.
