Siuslaw Viking head football coach Chad Smith tendered his resignation. The information first appeared on a facebook post on the Official-Siuslaw Vikings Football page. It states that the football program is heading in a different direction. the Vikings were 0-8 last season under Smith. This fall the Vikings will have their 3rd coach in as many seasons. Siuslaw will be in a rush to fill the position with spring and summer workouts already planned.
