City Council Meeting

The Florence City Council will hold an executive session on Monday evening beginning at 4:30 pm.  The council will meet to discuss the possibility of a Real Property Transaction as allowed in Oregon Statute 192.660 Concerning the Spruce Street Local Improvement District.  The property is along a section of Spruce Street that is north of Munsel Lake Road.  Improvements made along that section of Spruce were approved in 2005 by the Florence City Council and completed in 2009.  Included in upgrades were a sewer pumping station and water lines as well as storm water runoff.  The council is expected to hold a special meeting after the executive session which is expected to begin at 5pm.  The consideration of real estate transaction is the only action item on the agenda.
