   Mapleton

The Mapleton Sailors were short handed last night as they traveled to Elkton to take on the Elks.  Due to sickness and grades only 5 boys were eligible to play last night, but coach Eric Wolgamott says they were apparently the right 5.  Justice Wierichs led the Sailors with 22 points and Nate Neece added 12 as the Sailors downed the Elks 46-37.

The Lady Sailors were outscored 63-25

    Siuslaw

Last night at Glen Butler Court the Siuslaw Vikings hosted Sutherlin.  The girls were up first and were outgunned by the Bulldogs 64-29.  Savannah Morris and Brea Blankenship contributed 20 of the 29 points for the Viks.

The Viking boys were locked in a battle with the Bulldogs fighting up to the finish with a 42-40 loss.  Braydon Thornton was the top scorer for the Vikings with 15 and Avery Hart added 8
