Viking Basketball

On the court last night the Siuslaw Vikings were on the road in Stayton.  The girls were up first and were dominated by the Eagles.  Mia Collins was top scorer for the Vikings with 12 of their 18 points and 11 rebounds.  Final score 48-18: Stayton.

The Viking boys played tough against the Eagles keeping it close in the first half trailing by only one point 28-27.  Stayton took a 10 point lead into the 4th quarter and ended up overtaking the Vikings 57-38.  Brody Terry led scorers for the Vikings with 13.

Ducks Over Grizzlies

The Oregon Ducks at home last night defeated the Montana Grizzlies 81-48 to improve to 9-2 on the season.

Beavers Beat UTSA

The Oregon State Beavers improved to 9-1 by defeating the University of Texas San Antonio in Houston last night 88-78.

OSU Women: 10-0

The OSU women are 10-0 after disposing of Northern Arizona university in Lahaina, Hawaii last night 91-57

On the Schedule:

The Oregon State women are on the hardwood this evening taking on Brigham Young in the Maui Jim Basketball Invitational in Honolulu.

 

Prep sports tonight has Mapleton hosting Triangle Lake in a boys and girls double header begins with a first game tip off at 5:30.
