Gas Prices

It has been more than 10 months since gas prices in Oregon have fallen below 3 dollars.  Though Oregon has moved into the number 4 spot for highest gas prices in the 50 states.  This week the price of regular gas around the state has dipped to 2.99.  According to Marie Dodds with AAA Oregon it is a product of an unusually high reserve in gasoline stocks.  Reserves are at 258 million barrels and supplies are outpacing demands.  Current pump prices are still above last year at this time, but Florence remains well below the average statewide price at $2.86 a gallon.
