Three Rivers Casino Announces Shutdown

One of the area’s largest employers has decided to shut down for the next two weeks.  Three Rivers Casino Resort in a press release said that for the safety and health of its tribal members, team members and guests the confederated tribes of the coos, lower Umpqua and Siuslaw Indians will shut down gaming, restaurants and hotel operations until April first.  The Tribe will provide emergency paid leave and benefits for casino resort employees during this temporary closure, and will continue to monitor the situation nationally and locally. The property will close by 5 pm today.
