Cristobal Hopes for Return To Normal
Oregon football coaches are meeting through teleconferencing and discussing how to proceed with training. Conditional training is essential in the spring for health and safety of the players. With schools being closed for the remainder of the spring session and classes being conducted online. Spring workouts were to resume last week. Head Coach for the Ducks, Mario Cristobal says he does not want to speculate when the team might be able to resume training but he did say that he sees a day when life will return to normal. Cristobal is looking at the possibility of hiring some new coaches, but a current hiring freeze by the school is prohibiting that.
Beavers Rebroadcast Fiesta Victory
The Oregon State Beavers are looking to the past to keep sports minded people engaged. Beaver Sports Properties is planning a rebroadcast of the 2001 Fiesta Bowl where the 10-1 Beavers took on the #10 fighting Irish of Notre Dame. Spoiler alert…Beavers defeated Notre Dame 41-9
