Summer Workouts Cancelled
Summer workouts for the Siuslaw Vikings has been suspended. Workouts for football, cross country and soccer were cancelled after a student reported flu-like symptoms over the weekend. The student told coaches that they were being tested today. Coaches were directed to inform athletes and their families involved in that students pod that they should self isolate until test results are known. If test results come back negative, workouts could resume as early at Wednesday.
Pac-12 Moves to Conference Only Games
On Friday, Oregon Duck Athletic Director Rob Mullens sent out a letter to all season ticket holders as the Pac-12 announced that it will move to an all conference schedule for the 2020/21 season. This will also delay the start of workouts for the athletes. In addition Mullens said they are working with North Dakota State, Ohio State and Hawaii to reschedule their games. North Dakota State was to be the opening game of the season for the Ducks.
