Athlete of the Week
The Sports Club the Siuslaw News and Coast Radio Sports congratulate senior quarterback Beau Erickson as this week’s athlete of the week. Erickson orchestrated several scoring drives distributing the ball to multiple receivers in Friday night’s win against the Blanchet Catholic Cavaliers which included an 18 yard pass for a touchdown to Braydon Thornton and a 66 yard TD pass to Camp Lacouture.
Honorable Mention
Honorable mention goes to Braydon Thornton who scored on an 81 yard punt return for a touchdown and an 18 yard TD pass from Beau Erickson in the Vikings 45-6 win.
College Basketball
The Oregon Ducks are back on the hard wood this evening beginning at 3:30 on KCST as the take on Texas Southern live from Eugene.
The Oregon State Beavers will host Portland State this evening with a pregame on KCFM beginning at 7pm.
