Pet Chip Clinic
Another pet vaccine and micro-chip clinic is scheduled this coming Saturday at the Oregon Coast Humane Society. Shelter director Elizabeth Thompson says it’s an effort to help out pet owners who may not be able to get their “furry friends” into a local vet.
“The vets here are exceptional, which means they are also very busy. It’s a perfect storm as far as we have a lot of animal lovers in our community, our community continues to grow, and the vet clinics here in town are just overwhelmed with requests for new patients.”
Thompson says this week’s clinic is by appointment only. To book yours, call or go to the shelter on Rhododendron Drive, or visit their website at Oregon_coast_humane_society-dot-org. Thompson adds they’ll offer similar clinics each month.
