Viking Volleyball

The Siuslaw Vikings volleyball team fell to league leader Coquille in three sets, losing 21-25, 15-25, and 22-25. Kamorah Lake contributed 2 blocks and 3 kills, while Stella Duman added 2 blocks. Kimberly Martinez-Munoz had an impressive 17 digs, 11 kills, 10 serve receive passes at 100%, and 1 block. Mia Snider chipped in with 5 kills and 1 block, Chloe Clark recorded 6 digs, 14 serve receive passes, and 2 aces, and Kylee Stinger had 16 digs, 14 assists, and 15 serve receive passes at 93%. The Vikings have three games remaining, with South Umpqua up next at home tomorrow.

Viking Soccer

Viking boy’s soccer will face Santiam Christian in one of the two final games of the season tomorrow on the road. The Vikings have amassed an impressive 9 and 2 record with one tie. Santiam Christian is currently in second place behind the 9-2-1 Creswell Bulldogs.  The Viking girls have 3 games left, all at home with Pleasant Hill up today.

Mapleton Volleyball

Mapleton Volleyball will be on the road to Siletz Valley for a game tomorrow at 5pm.
