In a thrilling Highway 36 rivalry, the Mapleton Sailors defeated the Triangle Lake Lakers 49-42 on Tuesday. Seniors Dom Stewart and Alex Burnett led the charge, with Stewart tying a season high of 18 points. The Sailors’ strong defense in the fourth quarter sealed the victory. Now 3-1 in league play, the Sailors face the Crow Cougars at home Thursday at 5:30 PM.
