Baseball and Softball
The high school sports season is in flux with no competition this week but Siuslaw baseball and softball teams are hard at work preparing for the season. Siuslaw Baseball will include some Mapleton players once again as Mapleton doesn’t have enough players to field a team. Coach Wells will break down the season on this week’s Sports Talk on Thursday morning.
Track and Field
Siuslaw Track and field will support a health roster this year with 49 boys participating and 34 girls. Track and Field competition begins on Thursday March 20th with the Siuslaw icebreaker at 5 p.m., followed by the Oregon Relays on April 4th and 5th in Eugene.
Ducks Early on KCST
The Oregon Ducks will be on the court early tomorrow morning. Beginning at 8:30 the Ducks will face Indiana in the Big 10 tournament. If the Ducks win they will play again on Friday against either Michigan State or UCLA.
