Athlete Of The Week
The Sports Club and Coast Radio Ssports congratulate senior wide receiver and defensive back Tom Morgan as this week’s athlete of the Week. Morgan had a stellar game against the Douglas Trojans with 5 catches for 166 yards, a pick 6, 99 yard return and an 85 yard kickoff return for a touchdown in a close 46-42 win for the Vikings.
Honorable Mention
Honorable mention goes to mapleton senior harrier Natalee Stevens. Natalee broke the old mill invitational record with a first place finish in the 5000 meters with a time of 21:42.93.
Boy’s Soccer
Boys soccer will be at home against Pleasant Hill tonight is senior night for the boys. Six players will be recognized Asher Borgnino, Camden Linton, Joel Bates, Kale Jensen, Lalo Pelayo and Ramil Beers.
New Beaver Interim Coach
The Oregon State Beavers announced the placing of Robb Akey as the new interim head coach for football. Akey told members of the press that the focus moving forward is on the players. He says there are still 5 games left and his goal is to help those players find the joy in the game and come off the field smiling.

Girls soccer was cancelled due to no refs for the game.
