Volleyball League Win
Siuslaw Volleyball picked up their first league win last night in four sets at Glide, with scores of 25-14, 15-25, 25-17, and 25-23. The Vikings played strong defense, blocked well, and served aggressively. Stella Duman led with 18 kills, Kylee Stinger added 11 kills and 3 aces, Hope Smith had 4 kills and an ace, and Charley Johnson contributed 21 service attempts with one ace.
Girls Soccer Victorious
It was a shut out for Girl’s soccer as the Siuslaw Vikings dominated La Pine last night. Goals by Avey Huelt, Keira Johnson, Molly Mills, Clover Holbrook. The girls improve to 6-7-1 with the 6-0 victory and prepare for the final game of the season tomorrow against Elmira.
Mohawk Over Mapleton
It took 5 sets, but Mohawk eventually overtook Mapleton on the volleyball court last night. The Sailors have one remaining game tomorrow at Alsea.
