Viking Football

The Siuslaw Vikings will face Brookings Harbor in football this evening.  It could potentially be a mud bath for both teams as well as the homecoming court. Tonight is homecoming for the Vikings.  Coast Radio will cover the action beginning at 6:45 for the pregame and kickoff is at 7pm.  The Vikings will look to go 4-0.  Brookings Harbor remains winless in league play.

Volleyball

Viking volleyball ended their season last night against Douglas.  The Trojans defeated the Vikings in straight sets.

The Mapleton Sailors also completed their season last night losing to Alsea in straight sets.

Soccer and Cross Country

Viking girls’ soccer finished off the season with 9 goals and held Elmira to just 1. The Vikings recognized two seniors on the roster Ava Borgnino and Kiera Johnson.  They finish the season with a 6-7-1 record.
4 Viking sophomores finished at the top of the 3000 meter Run for the Brownies yesterday.  Henry Stone topped the list with a time of 9:15.15 followed in succession by Ezra King, Bentley Nelson and Sailor Jensen. Two more Vikings, seniors’ kale Jensen and Camden Linton finished 11th and 12th respectively.

College Football

They say it never rains in Autzen, but tomorrow’s weather is not looking great for the matchup between the Ducks and the Badgers of Wisconsin. Game time is at 4 with a 2:30 pregame on KCST.
