Mapleton Basketball

The Mapleton Boys opened the basketball season yesterday against Pacific.  The Sailors won in a tight match from the Winter Classic 37-35 .  The Mapleton girls also won their matchup against Pacific with a romp dropping 70 while holding Pacific to just 12.

Siuslaw Basketball Schedule

It’s tournament weekend for the Siuslaw Vikings as well. The Vikings are scheduled to face Toledo today and Junction City tomorrow. The Vikings return to the airwaves on December 9th.

Sadiq Gets Honored

Oregon’s Kenyon Sadiq has been named the 2025 Big Ten Kwalick-Clark Tight End of the Year, becoming the first Duck to earn the honor. Sadiq and guard Emmanuel Pregnon were selected to the all-Big Ten first team, while center Iapani Laloulu and tackle Isaiah World made the second team. Quarterback Dante Moore and guard Dave Iuli were among Oregon’s third-team selections, with ten additional Ducks earning honorable mention recognition.

Duck Basketball

The Oregon Ducks travel to LA for a game tomorrow against Big10 opponent UCLA.  The Ducks hope to recover from a 4 game slide against the 6-2 Bruins. Game time on KCST is at 2:30 with a 3pm tipoff.  The 10-0 Duck women will also be in LA for a Bruin matchup on Sunday

Beaver Basketball

The Oregon State Beavers will face Southern Utah from Gill Coliseum beginning at 1:30 on KCFM. The Oregon State Women will host Alaska/Anchorage on Sunday.

Viking Wrestling

Viking wrestlers open their season on the road this weekend. The girls compete today at the Deven Dawson Invitational at Harrisburg High School, while the boys head to Cascade High School on Saturday for the Perry Burlison Invitational.
