St. Mary’s Dominates OSU

The Oregon State men’s basketball team fell to Saint Mary’s 81-51 Wednesday night in Moraga, California. Josiah Lake the Second led the Beavers with 17 points. Saint Mary’s pulled away in the second half, scoring the first 10 points after the break and cruising to a 30-point win. Oregon State is back on the road next week at LMU and San Diego.

The Oregon State women will host Gonzaga this evening in Corvallis.

Duck Women Losing Streak

The Oregon women dropped their fourth straight game Wednesday, falling 65-60 to Minnesota at Matthew Knight Arena. The Ducks are now 14-7 overall and 2-6 in Big Ten play, with three of their four losses during the skid coming against top-16 teams. Oregon battled back late but couldn’t overcome an early fourth-quarter run.

Senior Night for Wrestlers

Tonight is senior night for Siuslaw Wrestlers.  The mat is set for dual competitions with 4 schools participating.  Oakridge High School had to drop out at the last minute due to a sickness going on at the school.  Coach Neil Wartnik says they are pushing the weigh in to 4:30 with Wrestling to begin at 5:30.
