Short Sports Break
It is a lull week for High School Sports. both basketball and wrestling finished up last week as the spring season for Track and Field, baseball, softball and golf get underway. All events will get started the week of the 16th.
Duck Women Advance
Oregon’s women picked up their first-ever Big Ten Tournament win Wednesday night, beating Purdue 82-64 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The Ducks built a 47-24 halftime lead and held off a second-half push from the Boilermakers. Katie Fiso led Oregon with 20 points, while Ehis Etute added 16 points and 12 rebounds for her eighth double-double of the season. The Ducks, now 21-11, advance to face 6th-seed Maryland this evening
Men’s DivisionTournament Play
The Duck Men’s team will begin Big10 tournament play next week on March 10th. the Beavers will be in Las Vegas on Sunday for the WCC tournament. opponents for each team have not yet been announced.
