Athlete of the Week
The Sports Club and Coast Radio Sports congratulate Mapleton senior Natalie Stevens as this week’s Athlete of the Week. Natalie broke the school’s record in the 1500 meter race with a time of 4:54.48. at this past weekend Harrisburg Twilight Meet taking a most 5 ½ seconds off the previous record set by T Rickman. She then took first place in the 3000.
Honorable Mention goes to Viking sophomore Henry Stone who set a personal record in the 3000 meter with a 4th all time finish in Viking history at 8:42.07.
Baseball
The Vikings will be at home this afternoon for baseball and softball with games starting at 4:30. The boys will be on KCST beginning at 4:15.
The Oregon Duck games against GCU have been cancelled. they return to action against UCLA in LA on Friday. The Oregon State Beavers will be in Portland this evening for a 6pm game.
