Ems Lead Series with AquaSox
The Eugene Emeralds made it back-to-back wins over Everett, beating the AquaSox 10-5 Wednesday night. The Ems pounded out 16 hits, giving them 29 over the first two games of the series. Carlos Gutierrez led the offense with 3 hits as Eugene improved to 14-12 in the second half, just 2 games out of first place.
OSU Academic Recognition
Oregon State baseball has once again been recognized for its performance in the classroom. The Beavers earned the Team Academic Excellence Award from the American Baseball Coaches Association, announced Wednesday. Oregon State is one of just six programs nationwide to receive the honor in all 11 years the award has been presented.
