Ems Drop Game 3
The Eugene Emeralds fell to Everett 10-2 Thursday night as the AquaSox scored all 10 of their runs in the first four innings. Zander Darby provided a bright spot for Eugene with a solo home run, his second of the series. Despite the loss, the Ems still lead the six-game series 2-1 and sit at 14-13 in the second half.
OSU Returning Coach
Oregon State Softball is bringing back a familiar face. Head Coach Laura Berg announced Eric Leyba has rejoined the Beaver coaching staff after 3 successful seasons at Texas A&M, where the Aggies went 130-and-45. Leyba previously helped lead Oregon State to the Women’s College World Series in 2022 and says returning to Corvallis feels like coming home.
