Athlete of the Week
The Sports Club and Coast Radio Sports congratulate sophomore striker Mia Goss as this week’s Athlete of the Week. Mia beat the Lakeview defenders in last week’s soccer match, scoring 4 goals in the Vikings’ 7-2 win. Playing all 80 minutes without a sub, she showed relentless stamina and determination, never letting up until the final whistle.
Honorable Mention
Honorable mention goes to junior Aris Lade who attacked the ball in Saturday’s win over Elmira with three tackles for losses, 7 total tackles and 1 forced fumble. In the Vikings 36-12 win.
Schedule
The Lady Vikings will be on the court this evening on the road against Brookings Harbor. The Mapleton Sailor girls will host Eddyville Charter.
On the Pitch the Viking boys and girls will be at Brookings Harbor as well.
