The Everett Aqua Sox extended their lead in the West Division of the Northwest League with a five-run shutout win over the Emeralds last night in Eugene. The game was marked by an inconsistent offense on the part of the Ems who left the bases loaded twice without scoring a run. Everett is a game ahead of Salem-Keizer in first place; four games ahead of Eugene. The Sox and Ems will meet again tonight at PK Park.
