ST. LOUIS (AP) – Sidney Rice caught a touchdown pass and drew a
pass interference call in the end zone that led to a field goal and
the Seattle Seahawks defeated the St. Louis Rams 24-7. The Seahawks
defense also came up with a big game, sacking Sam Bradford five
times and forcing him to lose two fumbles that led to touchdowns.
Marshawn Lynch scored for the fourth week in a row, although he
just missed on a third consecutive 100-yard game. Chris Clemons had
three sacks and came up with both fumbles. The Rams totaled 185
yards.
PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) – Washington State University quarterback
Connor Halliday was listed in stable condition at a Pullman
Regional Hospital yesterday after suffering a lacerated liver. WSU
officials say Halliday was admitted to the hospital for observation
and imaging after Saturday’s loss to Utah. The assistant athletic
director says Halliday received several hard hits during WSU’s
30-27 loss to the Utes and played through each of them.
ST. LOUIS (AP) – Brian Conklin scored 25 points and Saint Louis
coasted to a 77-64 win over Washington yesterday. The Huskies

good at 8-6 on Kwamain Mitchell’s 3-point shot and never looked
back. It was 50-25 Saint Louis at the half and Washington never got
closer again than the final 13-point margin. Mitchell scored 18
points for the Billikens and contributed four 3-pointers.
