The Rose Bowl is a living archive of football tradition. Every year, teams participate in the same oceanside pep rallies, Disneyland visits and Hollywood beef-eating extravaganzas before those flowered parade floats glide down Colorado Boulevard right before the game. All that history suits No. 9 Wisconsin and No. 6 Oregon, the last two losers of the Rose Bowl will return this afternoon for a chance at redemption in the 98th edition of the Granddaddy of Them All. Airtime on KCST is set for 1 o’clock, kick off is at 2:15 from the Rose Bowl in Pasadena

Brock Motum led Washington State with 26 points and eight rebounds yesterday in an 81-76 win over Oregon State. Jared Cunningham led Oregon State with 21 points. Washington State led almost all the way, but the Cougars needed late free throws to
clinch the win.

The Ducks stumbled in Seattle Saturday night to close out 2011 with a 76 / 60 loss to the Huskies.  Olu Ashaolu had 12 rebounds, the most by an Oregon player this season.
