Number 16 Oregon rallied from a ten point halftime deficit to beat Washington State 68-61 last night and preserve the Ducks’ best league start since 1926. E.J. Singler had 19 points… 14 of those in the second half as Oregon pulled out its eighth straight victory.
In Corvallis, the stink is off the win column. Oregon State led by as many as 20 points in the first half, only to see that lead dwindle to one after the break, but the Beavers held on for a 74-66 Pac-12 win over the Washington Huskies; their first of the season. Devon Collier had 16 points, Eric Moreland added 12 points and had ten rebounds.
Oregon will host Washington Saturday afternoon while Washington State will be in Corvallis.
On the schedule today… the Siuslaw Vikings will be wrestling in three Far-West Dual meets in Sutherlin… They’ll take on the Bulldogs as well as South Umpqua and Douglas.
