Here is the latest Washington, Oregon and Alaska sports news from The Associated Press

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – LaMarcus Aldridge scored 27 points and the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Indiana Pacers 100-80 last night to snap a six-game losing streak. Rookie Damian Lillard added 20 points and eight assists for the Blazers, who also stopped a four-game losing streak at home and avoided dropping five straight at the Rose Garden for the first time since 2006.

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) – E.J. Singler scored 19 points and No. 16 Oregon rallied from a 10-point halftime deficit to beat Washington State 68-61 last night. Singler scored 14 points in the second half for the Ducks, who trailed 39-29 at halftime before pulling out their eighth straight victory. Mike Ladd had 19 points and Brock Motum scored 14 for the Cougars.

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) – Devon Collier had 16 points and Oregon State held off a second-half run by Washington for a 74-66 win last night. Eric Moreland added 12 points and 10 rebounds off the bench for the Beavers, who saw a 20-point first-half advantage shrink to one but never gave up the lead. C.J. Wilcox had 23 points and seven rebounds for Washington.

SEATTLE (AP) – The Seattle Mariners’ offseason focus was on adding bats to the worst offense in baseball. They believe they accomplished their goal with the additions of Kendrys Morales and Michael Morse, and they hope Jason Bay and Raul Ibanez still have some pop left in their bats. The additional benefit is that they added some veterans that manager Eric Wedge and general manager Jack Zduriencik (zur-EN’-sik) believe will bring more help to the clubhouse than previous veterans provided.
