Ducks Come From Behind in Civil War
Carlos Emory scored 21 points and number 24 Oregon completed the season sweep of the Civil War series with an 85-75 victory over Oregon State last night in Eugene. Oregon trailed at the half and were down by six near the midpoint of the second half before exploding for an 18-3 run to take a ten point lead. Roberto Nelson, the Pac-12 scoring leader in conference games had 31 points for the Beavers… 22 of those in the first half.
The win gives Oregon sole possession of first place in the conference, a half game ahead of UCLA. The Bruins had last night off.
Looking at the schedule for the weekend… Oregon State baseball is on the diamond at Goss Stadium in Corvallis for a four-game series against Bryant. Oregon is in on the road for a three-game series against Cal-State Fullerton.
