The Eugene Emeralds managed only four hits and gave up seven runs, falling to the Vancouver Canadians last night 7-nothing to wrap up the two teams’ five game series.
Despite the loss, Eugene remains a game ahead of the three other teams in the southern division in first place eight games into the second half of the season.
The Emeralds head out on the road today where they’ll open up a five game series against Tri-City in Pasco, Washington.
