A pair of extra base hits, a two-run home run, a wild pitch and a passed ball helped the Everett Aqua Sox to a four-run fifth inning last night… and a 7-2 win over the Eugene Emeralds.  The Sox put up 13 hits in all, and the Emeralds committed three errors.  Eugene came away from the five game series with three wins over the Sox.  They’ll be back at PK Park in Eugene this evening where they’ll host the Hillsboro Hops for the first of three.

Beavers Still Undecided on Signal Caller

Oregon State football coach Mike Riley says he’s still not announcing who will get the start at quarterback for the Beavers when they open next week at home against Eastern Washington.  Both Sean Mannion and Cody Vaz started at different times last season.  Riley had said he hoped to make a decision last weekend, but is remaining mum.
