Here is the latest Washington, Oregon and Alaska sports news from The Associated Press

SEATTLE (AP) – Doubt followed quarterback Keith Price everywhere last season as a junior at Washington. Doubt from fans. Doubt in his own mind, trusting his teammates and himself. That’s all gone now, replaced by confidence, swagger and a new toughness Price showed last Saturday in nearly leading the Huskies to an upset of No. 5 Stanford. True to his personality, Price is deflecting the praise especially since it came in a 31-28 loss to the Cardinal. No. 16 Washington plays No. 2 Oregon tomorrow.

RENTON, Wash. (AP) – Despite an excellent career at the University of Washington, Jermaine Kearse was little more than an afterthought when he joined the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent last season. Now in his second season with the team, Kearse is becoming a vital piece of the Seahawks’ success. Kearse left Washington as the school’s No. 2 leading receiver all time in catches (180), yards (2,871) and touchdowns (29). He signed with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) – Even the most muffled clap seemed to echo throughout Arrowhead Stadium last season as the Kansas City Chiefs plodded their way toward one of the worst seasons in franchise history. A group of fans is trying to restore the roar. When the Chiefs host the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, they will be trying to break a Guinness world record for loudest sports crowd roar in an outdoor sports stadium that was set earlier this year by Seahawks fans during a game against the 49ers.

SEATTLE (AP) – Former University of Washington and NFL defensive lineman Reggie Rogers has pleaded not guilty in Seattle Municipal Court to a domestic violence assault charge. KIRO reports he was arrested Monday night at his home after his wife told police he hit her on the head with a flashlight in an argument about his drinking. He entered his plea Wednesday.
