Oregon State held off Ohio State 4-3 yesterday afternoon for their seventh straight college baseball victory. Freshman Mak Fox earned the win with 3-2/3 innings of shutout relief for the win. He came in for Jake Thompson who was pulled after the first inning, when a walk and a hit batsman helped the Buckeyes score three times. The Beavers open up conference play Friday afternoon in Salt Lake City against Utah.
Pac-12 Tourney Matches Ducks and Beavers in Las Vegas
One more Civil War. That’s how the Pac-12 men’s basketball tournament will start for Oregon and Oregon State this evening, when the two teams meet for the first time ever in post-season play. Airtime on KCST and KCFM is set for 5:30… tipoff at six.
This evening’s winner will face UCLA tomorrow night at six.
