Siuslaw Softball picked up a win on the diamond yesterday in North Bend, claiming a rain-shortened 6-4 victory over the Bulldogs. The game was called because of rain after five innings.

College Baseball
Oregon State jumped off to another early 5-run lead over Sacramento State yesterday. This time it held up as the Beavers held on for an 8-1 non-conference baseball win.
Dylan Davis got the start on the mound, throwing 4 1/3 scoreless innings allowing one hit and striking out three. He also accounted for much of the early offense, swinging for a two-run homer in the first inning, then adding a two RBI single in the third.
Oregon State, at 28-8 overall, will host Oregon for a three game Civil War series in Corvallis beginning Friday.
