Beavers Bounce the Bruins

Oregon State outfielder Michael Conforto homered twice yesterday and became the career RBI leader for the Beavers as number two Oregon State routed UCLA 11-2 in Corvallis to complete a three-game sweep of the defending National Champion.

The Beavers started things off with a rain-soaked; come-from-behind-4-2 victory over the Bruins Friday night. They did things in a similar… albeit much dryer… fashion Saturday for a 9-3 win.

The Pac-12 Standings leaders will tune up with non-league game against the Portland Pilots tomorrow at Volcano Stadium in Keizer… then host Washington for a key series this weekend.

Arizona State took two of three games from Oregon over the weekend. The Ducks started with a 5-4 win Friday, but fell 9-4 Saturday and 8-6 yesterday.  Oregon will host Pacific University tomorrow at PK Park.
