The Eugene Emeralds forced extra innings with a tying run in the top of the ninth inning last night, but couldn’t hold on. The Boise Hawks drew two free passes with a pair of walks to start off the bottom of the tenth. Then, Charcer Burks singled to right field to end the game.
The Emeralds are back in Eugene today where they’ll begin a three-game series against Salem-Keizer.
Viking Season Tickets Go On Sale
Season tickets for Siuslaw Viking Football go on sale next week. The Viks will have four home games this season, beginning with the September 5th home opener against Newport. They’ll wrap up the regular season October 24th against Brookings-Harbor for Homecoming. In between they’ll host Hidden Valley September 19th and North Bend October 3rd.
Tickets go on sale at the high school office Tuesday from Noon to four PM.
