Mapleton duo earn honor
Mapleton basketball standout Tucker Ford is Coast Radio Sports’ Athlete of the Week. The senior guard earned a double-double in the Sailor’s 50-25 victory over the Mohawk Indians. Ford had 19 points, 14 rebounds and one steal in the effort. Honorable mention goes to Chris Free. The Sailor forward also had a double-double with 15 points, 12 rebounds and three steals.

Siuslaw is on the road tonight for Far West basketball. The Vikings will be at Brookings-Harbor High School. The girls tip off at six, the boys immediately following. The pregame show on KCST is at 5:45.
